The one pen that stopped disappearing into the void

I actually carry this pen. Not because it's the best writing pen out there, technically it's fine, nothing more, but because it's the one that stopped disappearing.

Pens don't get lost because they're bad. They get lost because they're identical to every other pen in the house, so nobody notices when one wanders off with a stack of mail or into a kid's backpack. The Zebra F-701 is all stainless steel, has real weight to it, and looks nothing like the free pens piling up in the junk drawer. That's most of the battle right there.

It's also a small favorite among people who like tinkering with pens: it's easy and genuinely fun to mod if that's your thing, swap parts, customize it, make it yours. I just like it as it comes. Classic, a little iconic, and about as close to a timeless writing tool as an $8 pen gets.
